\nUnit members attended monthly meeting of the parent chapter on 6\/1, jointly held with USS Victorious in Pinellas Park (FL).\u00a0 Members also joined their parent chapter at a Fourth of July party (7\/4) at a member’s home.<\/p>\n
Steven Satonick donated clothes & computer printer to local Goodwill in CT on 6\/16; total value $70.\u00a0 He also donated funds to local Easter Seals 6\/24.<\/p>\n
Anne Zecca donated platelets at LifeSouth Community Blood Centers (Ocala, FL) on 6\/5, 6\/26, 7\/10, and 7\/24.\u00a0 A triple amount was donated each time, to help cancer & leukemia patients with their treatments.\u00a0 She also helped pack thousands of meals for the relief agency Stop Hunger Now, held on 6\/6 at Druid Hills United Methodist Church (Ocala, FL).\u00a0 Boxes of 30 prepackaged meals (serving six each) were packed for shipment to other areas in the US and overseas.\u00a0 Other info at:\u00a0 www.stophungernow.org.<\/p>\n
