It is my pleasure to award you this Letter of Commendation for outstanding leadership and command of 1st Battalion, 2nd Brigade. The below was submitted by your Brigade OIC.

Major General Neil Rodney Yawns has been the Officer In Charge of the 1st Battalion, 2nd Brigade for the last our (4) years. He has demonstrates to this command his leadership abilities and a exceptional officer, so we like to honor him with this letter of commendation.

This action demonstrates the attitude of “service to others” in what he does that is so highly valued on our brigade. It is with sincere appreciation of his service that I hereby submit Major General Neil
Rodney Yawns for this recognition.

Your efforts reflect favorably on the STARFLEET Marine Corps as a whole, and will be duly reported up the Chain of Command.

Attention 2nd Brigade

For time being will will change the communication on the 2nd Brigade, instead of “HTML” newsletter we have “Blog”. Where all have a place to post them self. Brigadier James Cozine assume the duties of Deputy Marine  Security Force. Our new Deputy Brigade Commander is Colonel Anne Zecca.

We need all unit officer in charge should produce their logo’s. The 686 MSG within the 4th Battalion.  The 617  MEU has change back to a MSG and we have OIC, Gregory Gilliland.

We have a new unit forming out of the USS Venus.

We are a reporting cycle and I am hoping all unit OIC get your reports in on time.

Two seat come open last evening for 2014 summit. We are driving to Vicksburg, Mississippi in March 6 thru 9. We will be leaving on Thursday March 6 and be home My March 10. Hotel is $66.00 a night and cost of the summit is found on the Region Two website.
